[00:00:00]

Welcome to the divine worth podcast, where we are letting go of our self doubt anxiety, fear, and limiting beliefs so that we can step into the divine roles that God has for us. I am your host life coach, Karen Papin, and together we are embracing our divine worth.

Welcome to the divine worth podcast. Today’s special guest is Kylie Larsen.

Kylie is a wife and also a mother of four beautiful children. She is a homeschool mom, a violin teacher, and a small shop owner. Her shop is firm foundation design, and you can find it on Etsy. She loves to be creative and try new things. She currently serves as a primary music leader and loves the spirit that comes through music.

She loves sharing her testimony of Jesus Christ and of his gospel. So Kylie, thank you. Welcome. Thank you for coming on the podcast today.

Kylie Larsen: Thank you so much [00:01:00] for inviting me and giving me this opportunity. I’m so glad to be here.

Karen Papin: Well, I’m definitely glad to have you here too. to begin, I Would love to hear how has your relationship with God shaped your understanding of your own worth and potential?

Kylie Larsen: Oh, man. So probably to answer that question, I have to go back to, I guess the moment that I feel like I really gained a relationship with God. And so I was in, in high school and it was, I was maybe like a sophomore. And at that time I was just feeling really lonely. And I remember at the time we were studying the New Testament in seminary.

And I remember just , laying in my room, laying in bed and just like praying and just saying, Heavenly Father, I just feel so alone. And do you, you know, do you even love me? Do you love me? [00:02:00] And immediately the scripture popped into my head and it was John 3 16 for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son.

And at that moment, I read the scripture, but to me, it wasn’t God still loved the world. It was God so loved Kylie that he sent his only begotten son. And. And from that moment on, like, I just feel that I’ve known that God loves me and he answers my prayers. And so, that’s kind of how my relationship with him started.

And, From then I’ve just continued to grow and strengthen that testimony of his love for me. I

Karen Papin: love that. I love how the spirit speaks to us and kind of helps us to be able to receive that revelation that that scripture specifically was for you. That’s beautiful. Thank you for sharing that.

Yeah. How has understanding your divine worth influenced your approach to your [00:03:00] role as being a mother? and also within your calling as a primary music leader.

Kylie Larsen: I love this question too. So, I feel like I am a daughter of God and I just, so I recently received this calling to be the primary music leader, but before I was in the young women’s, which honestly was like my dream calling, I had been dreaming of having that calling to be with the young women for years and years and years, because I love young women’s.

But my husband had, like, he’d had the whole rotation and he’d been in Young Men’s for so long and they wouldn’t call us to be together. But when I was in Young Women’s, I just had the overwhelming feeling of these girls need to know that they are daughters of God. And I guess that’s just trickled over into my parenting as well.

That if there’s one thing that I want my children to know and the people that I serve and the children that I serve and the youth that I’m associating with, I want them to know that they are children of God. [00:04:00] And so I feel like that has really helped me or directed me. In my teaching of my children and my raising of my children and wanting them to know who they are, because if you don’t really understand who you are, then, everything else that we do, there’s not really a purpose, right?

Why would I pay tithing if, if I’m not really a child of God, and if it doesn’t really matter, you know, or why would I. Why would I attend church? Why would I read my scriptures? So it comes back to that basic understanding of knowing who we are.

Karen Papin: Yeah, but identity can, it Affects every, every, every area of our lives.

Kylie Larsen: Yeah, it does. And when I was teaching the young women, a lot of my lessons, you know, they were, they were focused on that. It’s like, what is the purpose of why does any of this matter? And, and I think it really boils down to just that really [00:05:00] simple gospel truth of we are children of God. And because we are children of God.

We matter. And because of that, he created a plan for us.

Karen Papin: My, seven year old, she loves the song. I am a child of God and, and they like each one of my kids is, they each have like their own song that they like me to sing to them, but that is like the song that she loves. And just the fact that she already recognizes that truth. In that song of who she is and she’s learning at such a young age and, and I love that as members of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, we do learn that spiritual truth that of who we are is such a powerful thing and influences every area of our life.

One thing though, that I. Would [00:06:00] love to hear more about is because I know that one of the reasons why you started Firm foundation design is about being more intentional with your parenting and creating that spiritual foundation. So, would you mind sharing more about how that came to be.

Kylie Larsen: Yeah, absolutely.

So I wanted to, well, let me back up. A few years ago, probably three or four years ago, I was like kind of starting to feel this like pull to, be more intentional and to try and create products that kind of shared a little bit more of a gospel message. And so I actually have another Etsy shop, and it shops Farrow and Sage.

And there I designed stickers. And so I started kind of designing stickers and my first products there were, youth stickers for the new youth theme. So I kind of started designing stuff there, but then it changed over to just being a little more, I guess, creative and more creative space for me.

And it wasn’t [00:07:00] necessarily. scripture gospel themed. But then two years ago, I was like, no, I feel this really strong pull. And it was specifically to make family home evening, a more central part of our, of our family culture. And, and I wanted, In my mind, I could envision this family home evening board that was just beautiful and that I wanted to display in my home.

And I just thought, if it’s not something that I want to display in my home, then it’s not going to be displayed and we’re going to forget about it. And it’s going to go by the wayside. And so I’m like, no, I want to create something that will Promote family home evening in our home. And so I designed this board and actually had someone else make it for me at the time, because I didn’t have the equipment and they made it and it was like, Oh, that was okay.

It wasn’t quite what I had, what I had envisioned. And I’m like, Oh man, it’s just kind of frustrating. I feel like I could make this really make it the way that I wanted to. And then I ended up, my husband gifted me the equipment [00:08:00] for Christmas that year. So it was like the best Christmas gift ever.

And the very first thing that I made. It was the Family Home Evening Board. And made it the way that I wanted it. And now I can’t even tell you, like, when I say that this family home meeting board has changed our family, I’m like, I know that sounds ridiculous, but I’m not exaggerating because it sits in our living room and it’s beautiful.

And it has all of our names on magnets and my kids go and they are so excited. Like when it’s their turn to have each job and they’ll move the magnets to each person’s assignment and they come and tell us, they know Monday night is family home evening night. And so if we’re like, it’s getting a little bit late and we’re still eating dinner, they’re like, mom, dad, we have to do family home evening tonight.

So that one product made such a big difference and it kind of, slingshotted , my Etsy shop and wanting to be more intentional with the teaching of my children. And so. I [00:09:00] wanted to create products that, were gospel themed and made Jesus Christ, even in play and through interaction, or activities that my kids did, I wanted those to allow us to have gospel conversations and allow us to tell scripture stories and to talk about Jesus Christ.

And so, now I make puzzles and I make lacing cards and, have a few other different products that I make that are all. Kind of gospel themes. I make home decor. And it’s just bringing Christ into our homes and bringing it into our kids lives and into their hands where they can physically touch it.

I have one that’s a Liahona and so they get to hold the Liahona and That’s just, I think that’s really important. Now, as I see, as I see the world and kind of the direction that it’s taking, I, as a youth, I really thought of myself as. One of the stripling warriors, this generation’s army of Helaman [00:10:00] and now the stage of life I’m in, I’m like, no, I’m not that, , stripling warrior anymore.

I am their mother. I’m the mother of the next army of Helaman. And so I think about what am I teaching them? How am I raising them and what do I want them to know? But not only do I want them to know, but what do I want them to know that I know so that they can, if there’s ever like a time that they are questioning, that they can look back and say, I know that my mother knew.

And so I guess that’s just been. What’s kind of driven me the last couple of years as I’ve started this Etsy shop is just really sharing, the gospel of Jesus Christ, through these products, but more importantly, I can see the difference that these kinds of things have made in this, this shift in mindset has made in my own family.

Karen Papin: And, I guess I just want to be able to share that with others too.

I

Karen Papin: love how. Even at the beginning, the [00:11:00] first product that you made and how it’s impacted your family. And now the kids are like super excited about family home evening. And that actually, when the kids are excited, in my family, when they’re excited about it, it’s like, it’s so much easier to do it.

 They’re holding us accountable.

Kylie Larsen: Right. It’s like, what am I going to say? No, we can’t have family home evening today. It’s like, you know, what parent wants to say that, like, yes, let’s read scriptures together and let’s talk about the gospel. Like, of course, those are conversations that I want to have with my kids and it definitely helps when they’re excited about it.

Karen Papin: Yeah. So, yeah, those products are just amazing for that reason. And I have a couple of your products. I’ve got like the key chains, which I love. I like any little reminders of who we are. So I, yeah, I’ve got like a daughter of God key chain for each of my girls. I have three girls and then a boy, so I got the son of God one too.

And then the tic tac toe , I love the tic tac toe because it was like something that my kids love to do. And it’s a [00:12:00] quieter thing that they can do during sacrament meeting. Stake conference. Like my kids will sit there and just do tic tac toe for stake conference for a while. But what I love about it is that it is focused on the gospel.

So as a wife and a mother and a small business owner, how do you balance these roles while maintaining your sense of your divine identity and purpose?

Kylie Larsen: That’s something that I am currently working on actually. And it, maybe it just feels like this year has been, I kind of talked about this on my Instagram, this week that this year hasn’t necessarily felt chaotic, but it, or, and it hasn’t felt frantic, but it’s just been A little busier, my oldest is, and he just started middle school this year.

My, then my next 1 is in elementary, and then I have a child who’s in preschool and a toddler. So I’ve got, like, the whole [00:13:00] range of ages right there. And yes, we do homeschool, but we also do, some extracurricular classes, and my preschooler goes to preschool. And so we’ve just been, I’ve spent a lot more time.

In the car and driving to and from activities and different things and trying to figure out. Okay. How do we, how do I make time for not only like for myself, but just to stay sane. Right. And, I think probably the biggest thing that I have noticed is that when I start my day with scripture study.

Then I’m more of, I’m more calm and more patient, I’m more organized and I’m, I’m able to like kind of manage the day better when I start my day off with that, that intentional time with God. And. That doesn’t mean I’m absolutely not perfect at it. There are days when, you know, one of the kids comes in and wakes me up and it’s just, [00:14:00] we’re off with the day.

But trying to start my day with that intentional time with God, I think helps me , through making those decisions and also knowing like, okay, God is aware of me today he’s aware of where I’m at and now I can move forward and that just also helps set me up to be able to be more receptive to the spirit throughout the day because I need it

Karen Papin: as someone who’s also a wife and a mother and a four kids too and, and a business owner, I know how overwhelming like each of those aspects can be. I’m curious like how, what helps you to be able to overcome those feelings of overwhelm or inadequacy or self doubt. When you start to feel the weight of all those responsibilities that you have.

Kylie Larsen: See, that’s a hard question because I don’t have the answer because that’s [00:15:00] something, that’s something that I’m working on. I think that’s probably one of the things that I’ve struggled with the most is just comparison, comparing myself to others. And, from the outside, everyone always looks like they have it all together.

And maybe some people look at me and they’re like, oh my gosh, you’re doing your homeschooling your kids and you’re teaching violin lessons and you’re running a business and you’re a mom and you’re going to all the things and you’re just so like you’re able to do it all. And I’m like, no, I’m not.

I’m not. I might be able to it’s a fake it till you make it. But I think that. Like I said, prioritizing, that daily time with God and with the scriptures, we’ve heard the saying, once you make God the priority of your life or crisis center of your life, like, everything else falls into place.

So, I guess that’s just, that’s what I’m working on the most is just making Christ and, the my scripture study, my daily prayer. My family scripture study, you know, making those [00:16:00] things the biggest priority in my life and then everything else. I guess I just kind of figure like either we get it done or it’s really not that important.

So, but that’s I think that’s a lifelong process of figuring out and like I said this school year with being a lot busier than I was in the past, now we’re trying to reevaluate and rebalance things out. And I’m not there yet, but, it’s a process and I don’t think we’re expected to be perfect at it.

I don’t think Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, they don’t expect us to be perfect at everything, but it’s What’s my intention? What’s my goal? Is it trying to focus on Christ and to, and do that and take care of my family and those things that are important.

They’re able to get done and God makes time for us to be able to do those things.

Karen Papin: I love how you like came up with a very actionable process right there. In first focusing on Christ and then being like, okay, what is my intention for the day and things [00:17:00] like that. And really what I love about this.

discussion that we’re having right now is that you started out saying, I don’t know, this is like something that I’m currently trying to figure out. And yet, as you were talking, it’s like, well, this is how I’m figuring it out. Yeah. You actually have an idea of what to do. Sometimes we just need to stop and think about it.

And those answers come, and so I love that you did that just now. what I love about it is, and what I want to point out here is that you do have the knowledge that you need. Yeah. And you are taking action on that knowledge. And so just take a moment to like, give yourself credit for that because it’s amazing.

And you’re taking each step that you can and focusing on the things that matter most, which is something that’s so hard to do, especially when you’re in the middle of it all. And especially when your kids come and wake you up before you’re ready, you know, [00:18:00] and yet you just, you just keep going, keep trying.

Kylie Larsen: Thank you. My words of affirmation self really appreciates, , appreciates that. So, and I really, like I said, I think we’re just, I’m just trying my best. And, knowing a process and having a plan doesn’t necessarily mean that I always execute it perfectly, but again, it’s that I’m working on it and we’re striving to improve each day.

You know, I, I just want to be a little bit better. Today than I was yesterday,

Karen Papin: I think that that trying that’s actually what the Lord asked of us, right, is to try put forth that effort. And as you said, it’s, it’s not, it’s not him saying you got to be perfect at this. It’s, it’s that process.

What are some ways that you’ve seen God answer your prayers in these moments of feeling overcome with thoughts [00:19:00] of comparison or self doubt.

Kylie Larsen: Let me sit with that one for a second.

I guess maybe just going back to being in high school. Looking back kind of through that, those high school years and young adult years, I would say, I guess I want to say I had a really good friends. I know that, like, the friends that I had, I was, I went to this small rural school in a small community, kind of one of those everybody knows everybody, kind of places and, I had this really good group of friends, but, I never necessarily felt like I was, That I had close friends, or that I was really a part of this bigger group.

So, I guess I’ve always had one or two really close friends, kind of through all the stages of my life, but never really had this big giant support system, or, looking at all the people, you know, back in high school that were popular. [00:20:00] And I, wasn’t that, and that always.

That was hard, growing up, feeling left out or like I wasn’t included in a lot of things or again, let me just reemphasize that. I did have that. Those those people, it’s not like they were mean to me or that they were unkind. They were really, really good people and still are. And, you know, I still see them and we’re still friends, but just were we weren’t really ever close.

And so I just always. Struggled with comparing myself to, I’m not as pretty as so and so I’m not as popular as so and so I’m not as talented. And, that was really hard and it’s probably really only been in the last couple of years. and even seeing it on social media, you see some of these influencers and they have these big girl parties or girl weekends where they get together with all of their friends.

And I’m like, I. Couldn’t well I could [00:21:00] but I don’t have that and just realizing that that’s okay and in the last couple of years just coming to terms with I don’t need that giant support system. I don’t need this big group of maybe like surface level friends, but having one or two really good, good people that I can connect with deeply and that I can have really good conversations with and that I know support me that, has really helped me to kind of get over that comparison.

I guess just coming to terms with that’s who I am that I can be okay with, like, this smaller support system and that’s okay.

Karen Papin: So it sounds God has placed like these specific, more specific people.

And it’s just one or two versus a whole lot of friends that helped you versus having a big group of friends.

You have been able [00:22:00] to come to terms with the fact that you’re someone who just needs one or two friends versus a whole group of friends. And that has helped you to be able to overcome those feelings of self doubt and comparison.

Karen Papin: That is a great insight to have, because there’s a lot of introverts in the world, right? as an introvert myself, that is something that, that I’ve had to learn to where it’s like, no, it’s not about how many friends I have. It’s like, I have those one or two small group of friend people that have in some way or another helped me to be able to know that I am loved.

Kylie Larsen: As I started this Etsy shop and knowing like, okay, is there a place for what I bring and what I make?

Is there really a place for this? And, there are lots of other small businesses that [00:23:00] make similar products or there, there’s just a lot out there. And I, I’ve had to think, okay, Is this really what Heavenly Father wants me to do? And, A few weeks ago, I received a lot of criticism and was getting a lot of negative comments and I had just thought like, okay, is this really what I’m, what I’m supposed to be doing?

And I prayed about that and I said, heavenly father, like is, do you want me to continue with this? Do you want me to be sharing, you know, sharing my testimony and sharing these products? Like, is this, cause it’s hard And again, just like comparing myself to other people that seem like they’ve got it all together or that their testimonies are stronger or that their products are better, you know, all of the different things that I could compare myself to.

And I just thought, am I supposed to be doing this? And immediately I got, An answer to that prayer, I received a message from my sister-in-Law who said, I see what you’re doing. I see what [00:24:00] you’re, I see your effort. I see what you’re trying to do, and I see the light that you’re trying to share.

Kylie Larsen: And she just wanted me to know that she loved me and that was an answer to my prayer that Heavenly Father was aware of me and that he knew that what I was doing was hard, But that was a reconfirmation or a reaffirmation to me that I was making the right choice and that I was on the path That Heavenly Father wanted to me to make and so it doesn’t You know, because of that, it doesn’t really matter what other people think of me.

It doesn’t matter what other people are making and I, or what products they’re creating or how successful it may seem like their businesses. Because if my. If my testimony or my story. If I can share that with one person, and if it touches one person, then I feel like I’m doing what Heavenly Father wanted me to do.

Karen Papin: I don’t always see your videos cause you know, just the Instagram algorithm and whatever, [00:25:00] but I was going back and reviewing some of the videos just before this. And I was like, Oh, this is a great video. And what I love about them is they’re fun. Like you do a lot of like fun, entertaining videos, and yet they’re, they still have that focus on the gospel.

And you’re sharing the products that bring people closer to Christ and bring families closer together. And also you share other things that are gospel related, like tips and things like that. And your testimony, so it’s like multiple ways there that you have an opportunity to be able to share your light and help others feel to receive strength.

And support. And insights, I can probably go on and on, but in that moment when you’re like, is this something that I should even be doing? The Lord answered your prayer [00:26:00] and your sister-in-law was there ready to receive that insight, to go and send you a message and help you to continue on.

And I know what it’s like to be like comparing. There’s a lot of LDS coaches out there too. And so I understand what that’s like, and yet I bring them on the podcast to be able to talk to other people because what they have to say matters and never know if the product that you are making is the one that is going to connect.

Kylie Larsen: Yeah. And sometimes I get wrapped up in the, like, well , I haven’t made any sales this week, or this video didn’t get as many likes or didn’t, not as many people saw it, but I think about, okay, but if it helped one person this week, or if, you know, thinking about the one person that it could reach and that could [00:27:00] Lift up where it could influence in, in a way for good, you know, that’s really my goal.

And I, if I do that, then I feel like, I’m okay with that. And I also feel like Heavenly Father is accepting and, proud of my efforts

Yes, I’m there to create products and I’m making products, but also underlying underneath that. I just want to share light and I want to share there’s, there really is so much heaviness in the world. And so I just want to share Christ and share the light that he brings.

Karen Papin: And it’s needed

Kylie Larsen: You mentioned in preparation for the podcast was present Nelson’s talk about expecting miracles how has that message impacted your life and what daily miracles have helped you to be able to recognize your divine potential?

When president Nielsen gave that talk [00:28:00] and said that you can expect miracles, I think that really just, that hit my soul, you know, that spoke to my soul and I truly believe that there are miracles that we experience every day.

Kylie Larsen: So I know one of the things that has really helped me is, paying attention to what those tender mercies are that we have every day. And sometimes they’re bigger and sometimes they’re small little things. And a lot of people might just brush them off and say, Oh, that’s a coincidence.

And so I’ll actually, I’ll share a couple examples, a couple of stories. So, one little miracle that I experienced was when I was 17, I, so I’m from Idaho and I traveled to Tennessee to a music camp and it was like five weeks long, so I was away from home, away from family, like everyone for five weeks.

And, I got to the end of this camp and getting ready to leave home and I’m packing up all of my things and I’m in my dorm [00:29:00] room and I can’t find my key and like the key to my dorm room that I need to turn in and they told me like it’s like a 50 fine or something if you don’t turn in your key. And here I am panicking.

I’m going to miss my ride. I’m not going to be able to, I’m not going to check out. I’m going to have to pay this fee. And I was like, so nervous as a 17 year old that this was a big deal. And I knelt down at my bed and I prayed. And I just said, Heavenly Father, please help me find this key. And after I finished saying my prayer, I like turned my head.

And I saw it, it was like underneath the dresser and it was, but it was like right in a place that if I hadn’t been kneeling at my bed, I wouldn’t have seen it. And, you might just say, oh, what a coincidence or whatever. And I’m like, no, that was my daily miracle.

Like that was the miracle that I needed that day. And then , another one just a few years ago was my son was out [00:30:00] riding his, he has a dirt bike and he was out riding his dirt bike and he got into a pretty bad wreck on his bike. And he came in and he’s just sobbing. He’s covered in dirt. He’s bleeding.

I can’t really tell where he’s bleeding from. And I just had this like immediately like calm. Just like came over me and I’m like, you’re going to be okay, you’re going to be okay. And you know, I’ve had three other little kids that I have to take care of. and here’s my son who obviously needs to go to the doctor.

But on that day, my husband had like, just been home. He’d come home for lunch and or he’d come home in the afternoon and he had like, just barely left, like not even five minutes. Before, and so I was able to call my husband and say, you need to come back so that you can take Drake to the doctor because it’s so I can stay home with the other kids.

So he was able to turn around and come back. And then also as he picked him up, we kind of got him cleaned up and he like left for the doctor and wasn’t sure , do we need to go to the ER? Do we need to go? To the doctor’s office [00:31:00] or do we need to go to like an urgent care? Like where can we even take him?

And I think they had like headed toward the urgent care, but they were totally booked or something and they, they couldn’t see him there. And so I called the doctor and most of the time when you call our doctor’s office, you can’t get in for like hours or even like days later.

But I called the doctor and they had an opening 10 minutes later. That he was able to get in and luckily he was fine. He just needed a couple stitches. We kind of like watched him for a concussion, but he ended up like he was fine and even like he needed stitches in his mouth and the doctor that , was the second ear nose and throat or just, specialized in that a little bit more like was there and he was able to and he had that opening and was able to take care of that.

And again, you might just say, Oh man, that’s just like a lucky sequence of events and I’m like, no, that was a miracle that I had, imagine me like taking three loading, trying to load three kids into the doctor and figure out where to go with my son who’s crying and bleeding. But having my husband there who my son [00:32:00] is already like calmer he behaves a lot calmer with my husband than he does with me.

Like that my husband was able to come and take him and he was right there. And that the doctor had an opening, like that was a miracle. And, you know, some of them are like this. I experienced things and some of them are small, just like being able to find a key and some of them are maybe a little bit bigger or a little bit more noticeable miracles.

But because President Nielsen has told us, we can expect miracles and so I look for those and again, like that phone call of my sister. To answer my prayer, I think that was a miracle. And I even kind of talked to her about that. And I said, Hey, do you, like, you don’t even know like what that meant to me.

And she’s like, well, I kind of had this feeling like a few days ago that I needed to know, like what your love language was, she needed to know, , it was words of affirmation. And then. She’s like, I just kind of had that feeling. And then like three days later when I needed [00:33:00] it,, then she could like give me the message and it was exactly what I needed to hear.

Like, those are the miracles that I see in my life and that are. messages to me that my Heavenly Father is aware of me and that he knows what I need, and he can give me those blessings in the time that I need them.

Karen Papin: I have a quote from Elder Bednar in my living room that says, The tender mercies are real. They do not occur by, Yeah. See, I don’t, it’s so funny. I like read it every day and yet I don’t have it memorized, but I’m paraphrasing, but it pretty much says they do not occur randomly or by coincidence and, they’re there.

Like if we just open our eyes to see them. So I, I love that you’re, opening your eyes and seeing those little miracles that heavenly father does want to give us.

Kylie Larsen: They’re absolutely there. In this small things, if we, if we overlook the small things and those small tender mercies, then we’re definitely going to miss [00:34:00] the big ones I think it’s that pattern of looking for the small, the small miracles and the tender mercies and the ways that God shows up in our lives every day, help us to create that foundation and that testimony that we can build on so that we can recognize.

The bigger miracles in our lives as well

Karen Papin: to kind of wrap up things. I guess I’ve got two more questions for you, but the first one is what is your favorite scripture on the divine worth?

Kylie Larsen: You might read it and not think it’s a scripture on divine worth, but it’s and now I can’t remember the reference. It’s 1st Nephi, is it 21? 15 and 16?

I’m pretty sure. But the, the gist of it, the main part of it is, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands. Thy walls are continually before me. And again, that just comes back to that very first experience that I had when, with the scripture that came into my mind, for God so [00:35:00] loved the world, for God so loved me.

So that idea of, Christ has written me, my name on his palms through his atonement. And because of that, because I was worth saving and Because I am loved and so knowing that again has just given me so much comfort and so much peace throughout my life.

Karen Papin: for sharing that. What is one small and simple action that those listening can take today to really embrace their divine worth and potential?

Kylie Larsen: So I know you said one, I’m going to give you two. So the first one is to just pray and to just know that God answers your prayers. And then when you’re done praying throughout your day, look for the answers to those prayers and look for those tender mercies and look for those miracles, because when you look, you will find [00:36:00] them.

So, it’s a two step process, but so pray and look for the answers to those prayers.

Karen Papin: How can those listening connect with you?

Kylie Larsen: So you can find me on Instagram at firm foundation design. And like you said, over there. I share my testimony. I share the products that I make and, some gospel related humor every once in a while.

So that’s where you can find me. And then, you can shop my products on Etsy at firm foundation design.

Karen Papin: Thank you so much. This has been fun talking to you and I’m excited for our listeners to hear what you have to say.

Kylie Larsen: Thank you so much, Karen. I appreciate it.
