Throughout my life I struggled to use my voice. I was afraid to be heard and feared to be seen. My Kindergarten teacher never heard me speak until she walked into the room I was in without me noticing and caught me talking to the school’s cat. As a youth, when I gave my first talk, my voice would not come. I was known as the quiet one and voted shyest senior in high school.
But, the Lord saw my true worth and potential. He saw what I could not see. As I developed faith in God, He began to help me to believe in myself. I began to speak. I began to share my voice with others and my light began to shine.
Once I struggled to open my mouth to speak, now I absolutely LOVE it.

Small steps are crucial for achieving success. Large goals may feel overwhelming, but by breaking them down into manageable tasks and prioritizing them, we can start taking simple steps towards completing the most critical jobs. These small and simple steps build momentum and trigger significant progress. “By small and simple things are great things brought to pass (Alma 37:6).”
As we embrace our faith in God and recognize our identity as His children, we also gain a better understanding of our unique individual potential. This potential is not limited by our individual capabilities or circumstances, but rather is fueled by the grace of God. The more we embrace God’s love, grace, and truth, the more we realize the fullness of our potential and the more we are able to live the abundant lives that He has intended for us.
As human beings, we have been blessed with a unique gift and power – the gift and power of agency. This means that we have the capacity to make choices and decisions for ourselves, to determine our own path and direction in life. We have the ability to shape our own future based on our desires, values, and beliefs and we always, ALWAYS have the power to choose how we will respond to life’s challenges. It’s time to stop reacting to life and start taking conscious action.
You are an incredible human being filled with unique experiences, making you indispensable. Your worth is not measured by your accomplishments, your social status, or your possessions, it is innate and priceless. You possess the power to influence and impact those around you positively.
Working with Karen Papin has been an amazing life changing experience. Coming from the extreme stress online school has been for my children during the pandemic and feeling completely helpless. When I heard I can get help to relief there anxiety and stress I jumped right in. Karen helped me understand that I had the tools all along but with her guidance to understand how to use them and keep peace in my home was a big game changer. I was eager for our next sessions and happy for the positive changes that have happened to our family. I definitely recommend Karen to my family and friends and anyone that wants a positive, tangible change for their home.
I am so grateful for the time I spent with Karen! I was hesitant to start at first because I wasn’t positive on what to expect, but she quickly made me feel at ease with her kind and welcoming personality. She helped me work through many aspects of my life teaching me tips and tricks to combat walls I had put up unintentionally. She showed me how to look at each situation with different points of view so that I could better understand what was happening instead of letting my anxiety get in the way. I now can better understand how to accomplish goals and projects because of skills she has taught me. I will forever be grateful for the time she took to listen and to help me!
Karen is kind, compassionate, and thoughtful. She never judged when I shared personal parts of my life. She helped me look for ways to change the things that I wanted to change and accept the things I did not. She is a great listener and responded with thoughtful and reflective comments or questions. Karen helped guide me to more more self love and acceptance and setting goals to benefit my life. I highly recommend Karen as a life coach. She is a great mentor and knows so much. I am so glad for my time with Karen and how she helped me shape my life into what I want it to be. She encouraged me to have the courage I needed to change.
Karen is so wise. I imagine much of her talent for inspired coaching comes from her personal life experience. However, her devotion to calm and acute listening is without a doubt a rare, and wonderful gift to her clients. She heard so much more than what I believed I was even saying throughout our sessions. When there was something to address, she not only discerned that quickly, but she was also pointed and very clear in guiding me through the challenging topics at hand. Being coached by Karen is like talking to a trusted friend, who allows others to be a mess—but only for a moment, because she quickly utilizes the tools necessary to help them straighten up their world. Many weeks beyond our very first session, I find myself returning to the gentle but solid coaching she offered on day one. It has been a gift to have many more opportunities to learn and grow through life’s difficult challenges during our time together. Forever thankful for Coach Karen!
