Ep 19 Divine Worth Podcast: Divine Worth Scripture Meditation

Welcome to the podcast today. So it is the day after Christmas and I just want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. I am so thankful for this time of year where we can really stop and consider, not just the birth of the Savior, but of his love for us and the hope that he gives us. And so this episode, I wanted to do a special meditation that focuses on his love and his belief

in you, this meditation takes scriptures. And so these are his words, and you will be able [00:01:00] to see that he loves you and that he believes in you from the words and the scriptures that are within this meditation.

So with that, I invite you to get in a comfortable position and if it is safe to do so gently close your eyes. Take a deep breath in

and slowly release.

Take another deep breath in

and again, slowly release.

Breathe in deeply from the belly

and release.[00:02:00]

As you continue to breathe in and out, allow the desire to embrace God’s love and His belief in you and in your worth to grow within you.

As you release, allow that desire to spread throughout your body,

and allow a gentle prayer. Let the Lord be with you as you ponder his words.

Any time an outside thought comes in, gently release it, and refocus on the words in this meditation.

My spirit bears witness with his spirit [00:03:00] that I am a child of God.

I am a child of the Lord, my God.

I am a child of God, a child of the Most High.

Before God formed me in the belly, He knew me.

I have been given exceeding great and precious promises. By these promises, I can be a partaker of the divine nature.

Fear not, therefore, I am of more value than many sparrows. I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I was made with wonder and awe.[00:04:00]

I am of God’s workmanship.

The worth of my soul is great in the sight of God.

Christ suffered pains and afflictions and temptations of every kind that he might know how to succor me.

God commendeth his love towards me in that, while I am yet a sinner. Christ died for me.

The Lord thinks thoughts of peace toward me and not of evil.

That which is of God is light. [00:05:00] As I receive light and continueth in God, I will receive more light.

I am allowing that light within me to grow brighter and brighter.

God will show me the path of life. In his presence, I find a fullness.

How oft will he gather me, as a hen gathereth her chickens.

In the Lord is strong confidence, and I, as his child, shall have a place of refuge.

As I draw nigh to him, he will draw nigh to me.[00:06:00]

As I humble myself, he lifts me up.

I will trust in him with all my heart, leaning not unto mine own understanding. In all my ways, I acknowledge him. And He is directing my path.

I believe and all things are possible to me because I believe. If God had commanded me to do all things, I could do them. If He should command me that I should say unto water, be thou earth, it should be earth.

I come unto the Lord and He shows me my weakness. He gives me weakness, that I may be humble, and his grace is sufficient for me, as I humble myself before him. For if I humble myself [00:07:00] before him, and have faith in him, then will he make weak things become strong unto me.

I will not neglect the gift that is in me. I will meditate upon these things, and give myself wholly to them. Though I fall, I will not be utterly cast down, for the Lord upholdeth me with his hand.

Who knoweth whether I have come to the kingdom for such a time as this? I will arise and shine forth, that my light may be a standard for the nations.

I will let my light so shine before men that they may see my good works and glorify my Father which is in heaven, for the [00:08:00] I will inherit the kingdom prepared for me from the foundation of the world.

The Lord will say to me, Well done, good and faithful servant. Thou hast been faithful over a few things. I will make thee ruler over many things. Enter thou into the joy of the Lord. Allow that joy and love from the Lord flow through your body. Breathe in his love and light, embracing your true and divine worth, embracing that divine potential that he sees in you.

And allow that light to flow through you and from you.[00:09:00]
